From Paris With Love

Starting off with shots of Paris, the setting for the film, 'From Paris, With Love' doesn't give any hints or tips to what the rest of the movie will be like. The first few scenes are good but not great, getting us to know the main character and his life. But then we see Travolta. His first appearance is quite far into the film but he is an instant star. With his bald head and beard he certainly looks the part and his character, Charlie Wax, is the one thing that makes the film great. With James Reese (Jonathan Rhys Myers) tagging along with the mad, hilarious and at times outrageous Wax, a great partnership is created. Their first scene is hilarious with Travolta showing a bit of Pelham 1 2 3's Ryder in his characters crazy dialogue.
In all the movie is a great watch. with everything as it should be and with a perfectly fitting ending that is sure to get you asking for more. Rhys Myers' acting is good but is overshadowed by Travolta. It's more of a comedy than an action thriller but, what's so bad about that?

First Blog - Info

OK so here it goes. My first attempt at a blog. I had an idea to make a whole blog all about movies. Each new film I see at the cinema I'll review on here for you, my readers! I'm planning to get a cineworld unlimited card in a few days time which means I'll see most if not every film that gets released. When I've seen the film I'll post a brief synopsis and review up as soon as possible. My first review will be The Lovely Bones which I'll hopefully post on Saturday night. Then it's onto The Crazies on Sunday. And then who knows! Wish me luck and I'll update agaon on Saturday hopefully.
